BOM blocks
I didn't get to do my first block in Judy's BOM when she 1st posted it. I printed it out...and then I printed out the 2nd one! Yesterday I cut and pieced the first one:
I had a very hard time picking fabric for this. I have had red/white/blue on the brain so much that I was drawn to those 1st. I ended up putting some yellow in there and then remembered those are the colors in my family room! I think this quilt is going to be for ME!
Here is the 2nd one. I did the miter and just LOVE this block! I don't know if you can see, but the background is pale blue circles. I am still having trouble with my camera, so I will be on the look out for a new one this week.
Thanks for all the good wishes about Rookie. I had a call tonight. I think it is too far (and across the freeway), but it renewed my hope and reminded me of how kind people can be.
