Opinions please!


I'm making a green and black nine patch on point baby quilt. (Colors were requested) I'm trying out fabs for the squares between..here is some green...altho they would be scrappy...




here they are on the Black I got for the nine patches...and setting triangles...I think the dark green is going on the back...

here is the border...


and a close up of the bright geckos!

What do you think? I will tell you what I am leaning toward tomorrow. I'm off to finish the last 5 nine patches...oh ..make that 6, gotta replace the dark one!

The black looks purple on my computer but I am leaning that way anyways. It will be interesting to see what others think and where you decide to go.

It is purple on mine too. I think I like the green with the gecko print as the border so it's not so dark. Amazing choices for a baby quilt! I love the geckos!

What ever happened to sweet pinks and blues or pastel green and yellow? Am I showing my age here or what?

Since you asked...I really like the green. Makes the nine patch blocks have some "punch".

I like the green also. You almost have floating 3" squares on the black fabric...

I know it's too late, but I think they both look good, depending on the effect desired.
